The best thing we can do for our spine is to practice yoga and swim!  Most of our population suffer from back pain due to long hours of sitting which results in weak back and core muscles.  Yoga and Mermaiding is a great way to take care of our spines, and awaken our youthful spirit.

In this Yoga and Mermaiding workshop we will first practice yoga and prepare the spine for rolling movements in the water.  We will move through a vinyasa yoga style and incorporate the yoga wheel.  With the help of the yoga wheel we can safely access deep back bends.

Once we are warmed up and ready for the water we will explore the different mermaiding movements and practice some back bend tricks in the water.  Bring your under water camera!  Mermaid tails and Monofins included.

Yoga and Mermaiding is a great combination and compliment each other.  Learn a new skill, and take care of your body and mind in a fun and magical way.  Tap into your imagination and awaken your Siren Spirit.

This is a good introduction to yoga and mermaiding, bring your friend and enjoy the day with us. No experience needed.  All bodies welcome.

Don’t forget to pack your swim suit, under water camera, towel, nose clip and goggles. Monofins, mermaid tails and yoga mats will be provided (unless you prefer to bring your own).
